Olympic baseball is back.

After being omitted from the 2012 and 2016 summer Olympics, baseball and softball are both back in the world’s biggest sporting event this summer. In all, six teams are vying for the gold medal, and it’s some of the usual suspects: The U.S., Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Israel and the Dominican Republic are all in the running for the top step on the podium.

Japan, the host country, has often been considered home to one of the best national teams in the world, but is still searching for that first gold medal to hang. This year, they enter as a favorite, with South Korea also in the running to take the crown.

With Olympic baseball getting underway on July 27, here are the latest standings and more from group and knockout play:
