Premier League giants Arsenal have joined capital rivals Tottenham in the race for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports.
Serbian talent Vlahovic has long been known by regular viewers of Italian football.
After first showcasing his talents en route to 6 Serie A goals across the 2019/20 campaign, the 21-year-old exploded onto the scene last time out, finding the net 21 times whilst lining out for a frankly average Fiorentina side.
The 7-time capped international possesses a whole host of stellar attributes, including aerial prowess and a remarkable knack for finishing half chances.
Such traits, meanwhile, were on full display two weeks ago, when Vlahovic’s goalscoring exploits began to truly turn heads across the continent.
Remarkably, during a pre-season friendly meeting with minnows Polisportiva, the Serb went on to bag no fewer than 7 (SEVEN) goals, despite having only been introduced off the bench at half-time.

North London battle?
Such efforts, coupled with his unquestionable room for growth, though, have inevitably seen Fiorentina come under pressure to cash in on their talismanic front-man this summer.
Recent weeks have seen Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur hotly tipped to launch an assault for Vlahovic, with the Lilywhites of course struggling to keep hold of their own attacking spearhead.

And, if the latest word stemming from the Italian media this weekend is anything to go by, then it appears that the Spurs hierarchy, despite Kane’s imminent return to training, remain keen on Fiorentina’s main man.
As per a report from transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the North Londoners are one of two clubs most keen on Vlahovic’s signing.
The other? Fierce rivals Arsenal.
The capital heavyweights are named as ‘most interested’ in luring the 21-year-old away from Tuscany this summer, with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta seemingly on the lookout for a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette.
Fiorentina, however, will not be bullied into a sale, with the Viola, according to Di Marzio, having slapped a €60 million price-tag on Vlahovic’s head.
