The first installment of the complete Rivals250 for the Class of 2023 has been unveiled. After capturing positional MVP honors at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge this past summer, Georgia four-star Justice Haynes sits atop the running back rankings followed by standouts Richard Young, Trey Holly and Sedrick Irvin.

TODAY’S RANKINGS RELEASE: Running backs | All-purpose backs | Pro-style quarterback | Dual-threat quarterback

PROGRAM WITH THE TOP COMMIT: Oklahoma

It remains very early in the recruiting cycle for the 2023 class, but Webb is one of the early pieces in place for the Sooners’ 2023 recruiting haul. Webb, tabbed as the No. 2 all-purpose back and a top-100 prospect in the country, joins five-star California quarterback Malachi Nelson and four-star Oklahoma tight end Luke Hasz as early commitments for Lincoln Riley’s top-ranked class.

PROSPECT ON THE RISE: Justice Haynes

As mentioned earlier, Haynes — an SEC legacy — was the positional MVP at the Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta earlier this offseason. With a 5-foot-10, 200-pound frame, Haynes is a well-built, physical runner that’s also showcased some really notable skills as a receiver and speed to make plays downfield.

The Peach State product is highly coveted by Georgia, where his father Vernon Haynes played running back under Mark Richt. Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson and LSU are also in the picture.

PROSPECT TO WATCH: Rueben Owens

The one-time Texas pledge was one of the first commitments under new head coach Steve Sarkisian, but after a busy summer with visits from coast to coast, Owens reopened his recruitment and is one of the most coveted all-purpose backs on the board.

The 5-foot-11, 187-pound speedster from El Campo (Texas) is still a high priority for the Longhorns in-state, as well as Texas A&M where he’s visited this summer. He is also closely connected with LSU, Alabama and Georgia.
