7. Michael Olise (£5.5million)
Patrick Viera is assembling a young and dynamic side and Michael Olise is perhaps the most exciting summer addition. Winning last season’s EFL young player of the year award, Olise has all the attributes to thrive at this level.
In the Championship, Olise was involved in 19 goals last season and he could turn out to be a great pick up for just £5.5 million.
6. Junior Firpo (£5million)
The former Barcelona full-back has come in as Ezgjan Alioski’s replacement and considering how aggressive Leeds full-backs are used in Marcelo Bielsa system, he could turn out to be a great pick.
Leeds’ defensive record also improved significantly in the second half of the season and so Firpo could pick up plenty of bonus points for keeping things tight at the back.
5. Adam Armstrong (£6.5million)
The 24-year-old striker was prolific for Blackburn in the Championship last season as he scored 28 goals. With the departure of Danny Ings, Armstrong is likely to be thrown straight into the side to partner Che Adams.
Armstrong’s pace and low centre of gravity should make him a menace for Premier League defenders and if he’s able to pick up from where he left off last season, he’ll be well worth the £6.5million you’ll pay for him.
4. Danny Ings (£8million)
Aston Villa might have lost the second most creative player in the league in Jack Grealish, but they should still have more than enough to support Ings.
The loss of Grealish is softened by the arrivals of Leon Bailey and Emi Buendia, who will both look to chip in with goals and assists. Ings’ goalscoring record in the Premier League when he’s fully fit is very strong and we fancy him to be a hit at Villa this year.
3. Ben White (£4.5million)
With the arrival of Ben White this summer, there’s a good chance that Arsenal improve on their 11 clean sheets from last season.
White is available for just £4.5million and could turn out to be one of the fantasy bargains of the season if Arsenal can keep things tight at the back.
2. Jadon Sancho (£9million)
Manchester United have been crying out for a right winger for years now and finally they have got their man in Jadon Sancho.
Priced at £9million, he is cheaper than the likes of: Raheem Sterling (£10million), Sadio Mane (£10million) and Son Heung-min (9.5million). He has produced 52 goal contributions in his last two seasons with Borussia Dortmund and if he’s able to get anywhere close to those numbers for United, he’ll be worth the money.
1. Jack Grealish (£7.5million)
Jack Grealish was already a strong fantasy football asset at Aston Villa but now he’s made his move to Manchester, there’s a chance that he explodes into life this season.
With the calibre of players he will now be playing with, his goals and assists should shoot up, although there is now more of a rotation risk with Grealish likely to be on the bench for some gameweeks.
