After a 13-year career as an NBA player, Gerald Green has now officially retired. However, he’ll still be close to the game going forward as a member of the Houston Rockets coaching staff.

A first-round pick in the 2005 NBA Draft, Green went on to play in 658 career games at the NBA level. He finished his career with two seasons in Houston, with his last game being played during the 2018-19 season.

Now, he’ll get to help the Rockets with their player development, as they look to rebuild a contending team.

Green finished his NBA career with averages of 9.7 points per game while shooting 36.1% from beyond the arc.
